Die Klinik stellt als eine der führenden Institutionen in der Schweiz die ambulante, teilstationäre und stationäre psychiatrische Versorgung sowie die Notfallversorgung aller Babies, Kleinkinder, Kinder und Jugendlichen im Versorgungsraum sicher. Als Universitätsklinik hat sie einen erweiterten Auftrag in der überregionalen spezialisierten Versorgung sowie in der Lehre und Forschung.

  • Erforschung psychischer Störungen, die in der Kindheit, Jugend oder im jungen Erwachsenenalter beginnen.
  • Forschungsschwerpunkte sind E-Mental-Health, Entwicklung innovativer Früherkennungs- und Behandlungsansätze, neurobiologische Mechanismen, Measurement-Based Care, Psychotherapieforschung Schlaf, Selbstverletzung, Persönlichkeitsstörungen, Psychosen, Essstörungen, Traumafolgestörungen und Psychopathologie in der frühen Kindheit.
  • Lehre für Studierende der Medizin und Psychologie auf allen Ausbildungsstufen
